LAS VEGAS, July 4 (Vegas News Online) — Las Vegas is lining up eight consecutive Saturday-night fireworks shows next summer as part of its America250 celebration, giving travelers a free, late-evening draw on the Strip and in downtown Las Vegas from June 6 through July 25, 2026.
The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority said each show will start at 9 p.m. and run about eight minutes, with music broadcast on KOMP 92.3 FM, 97.1 FM The Point and 98.9 HANK FM. Organizers said the launch sites will rotate among Strip and downtown properties including Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian Resort, MGM Grand, ARIA Resort & Casino, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, The Plaza Hotel & Casino, Binion’s Gambling Hall and Fremont Street Experience parking garages.
July 4 is set to be the biggest night of the series, with a fully synchronized display launched from nine rooftops across the Strip, according to the tourism authority and event organizers. The city of Las Vegas also says related public viewing and event options will include Downtown Las Vegas on June 20, Buckskin Basin Park, Cashman Field after a 7:30 p.m. soccer game on July 4, and The Plaza Hotel & Casino’s own July 4 fireworks show.
Visit Las Vegas says the shows will be free to watch from outdoor public areas with sky access, including the Strip sidewalk. The tourism site also said complementary programming is planned for Sphere’s Exosphere on each Saturday in June and July.
The America250 Nevada community page says the summer program is part of a broader Southern Nevada celebration tied to the nation’s 250th birthday.
